How to use:
The products in the Leather Repair Kit can be used to make various types of repairs to leather. Choose the type of damage you have from the titles below and follow the corresponding instructions.
Using the spatula, spread the Filler (Leather Filler) over the scratch until it is filled. Remove any excess filler around the scratch. Dry with a hairdryer for about 5 minutes. Let it dry for 1 hour. Sand the scratch with sandpaper to make it smooth. If necessary, repeat this process.
Gently sand the surface to make it a little smoother. Using the spatula, spread the Filler (Leather Filler) over all the cracks. Remove any excess filler. Dry with a hairdryer for about 5 minutes. Repeat this process if necessary. Let it dry for 1 hour. Sand the surface afterward if necessary to make it smoother. However, for large cracks, use Leather Flexi Filler instead of Leather Filler
Use repair cloth patches or a piece of leather behind your leather. When the secondary cloth patch is well placed under the leather, apply leather adhesive (Leather Glue) between the secondary cloth patch and the leather. The leather adhesive is activated (Leather Glue) by heat, so heat the area with a hairdryer for about 5 minutes. If there is a gap between the tear, it can be filled with Filler (Leather Filler) once the glue is dry. Apply a layer of Filler (Leather Filler) that fills the gap with the surface. Heat each layer of filler with a hairdryer for about 5 minutes. The filler will shrink at this point, so it may be necessary to apply it again. Allow to dry for 1 hour. Sand the surface afterward if necessary to make it smoother.
Use repair cloth patches or a piece of leather behind your leather. When the secondary cloth patch is well placed under the leather, apply leather adhesive between the secondary cloth patch and the leather. The leather adhesive is activated by heat, so heat the area with a hairdryer for about 5 minutes. Slowly start filling the hole by applying thin layers of leather filler, wiping away any drips over the edges. Heat each layer of filler with a hairdryer for about 5 minutes. Allow to dry for 1 hour. When the last layer is sanded dry, it is smooth.
Use Leather Binder when the leather has abrasions - a liquid filler for strengthening the fiber structure on damaged leather. Apply three thin layers of Leather Binder to the damaged area with a sponge, allowing it to dry between layers. Smooth with sandpaper. If necessary, repeat this process.
In the case of a large area of used leather, you can use Leather Flexi Filler - a flexible filling paste for fixing and retouching damaged leather. Apply with a spatula on the prepared leather surface. Do not sand. Allow to dry well before coloring.
