Leather Steering Wheel Restoration Kit LEATHER EXPERT

The kit is equipped with high-quality products and all the necessary accessories for restoring the steering wheel and any other leather items, such as car seats or gear shift knobs. The kit is ready to use.

The package contains:

Leather Preparep - an agent designed to remove old dyes and finishes on natural leather. Prepares the leather surface for coloring.

Leather Alcohol Cleaner - a product designed for degreasing leather before coloring. Prepares the leather surface for coloring. Removes all oils and wax from the leather surface.

Leather Colourant - Leather dye created based on water-based substances with excellent covering properties. It is dedicated to restoring or changing the color of any leather item. After using Leather Colourant, the leather has a soft and delicate touch.

Leather Top Coat - colorless polyurethane leather finish. Perfectly preserves the dye and increases resistance to harsh weather conditions.

How to use?

Step 1: Use Leather Preparep with wipes or a cotton cloth to partially remove the old paint. This increases the adhesion of the new layer. If there are visible irregularities on the leather, use fine sandpaper.

Step 2: Use Leather Alcohol Cleaner with wipes or a cotton cloth to degrease the surface and remove any traces of dissolved paint.

Step 3: Apply the first coat of Leather Colourant with a sponge using circular motions. Subsequent layers are applied with a sponge or a spray gun. Each layer must be well dried. Apply 3-4 thin layers. For quick drying, use a hairdryer (NOT an industrial one).

Step 4: After the paint is completely dry, apply Leather Top Coat for paint protection. Apply in 3-4 thin layers with a sponge or a spray gun. Each layer must be well dried.

Tips:

Use Leather Expert Filler for cracks. Use fine sandpaper to smooth out any unevenness. Do not clean or maintain the leather for 5 days after repair.
