With the simple press of a button, thanks to the optional BMW - Ambient Air package, it envelops the interior of the car in a discreet and pleasant fragrance. Eight fragrances are available from four different themes, which can even be used two at a time, with alternating fragrance release inside. The eight fragrances are divided into four categories: “Blue Suite” with fresh water scents, “Green Suite” with fresh plant scents, “Golden Suite” with warm, rich scents, and “Authentic Suite” with natural scents. The intensity of the fragrance can be adjusted to three levels, while the fragrance is released, the air brought in from outside is filtered and purified. Additionally, the air quality is significantly improved through the ionization of oxygen. This function can be activated via the iDrive Controller or directly through a button on the air conditioning control unit. All fragrances last approximately six months with average use and are available in the collection of BMW Original Accessories. The high-quality cartridges are made from materials that prevent the leakage of the aromatic oils with which they are impregnated. The fragrance cartridge is simply inserted into the dedicated space in the glove compartment.
