Nanolex Si3D BC (Base Coat) is a semi-hydrophobic coating with all the advantages of modern paint sealants, but with added durability and hardness. It is the perfect start for a multi-layer approach to coating paints for unbeatable protection. Multiple layers of Si3D BC can be applied before the application of a top coat.

Si3D BC forms strong chemical bonds with the paint lacquer to provide durability between 3 and 5 years. Evaporating solvents are just one of the secrets to the ease of application of Si3D BS, making it ideal for busy professionals or car care enthusiasts to apply at home. This also makes it suitable for use on fresh or sensitive paints.

To add hydrophobicity for achieving excellent beading or water sheeting, finish Si3D BC with Nanolex Si3D, the silica (Si) based sealant with Nanolex dimensions. Si3D is resistant to extremes of pH and contains a thermoplastic component to form an incredibly hydrophobic, flexible, reticulated matrix. The dense matrix increases the overall hardness of the paint up to 9 H, providing remarkable abrasion resistance, such as that caused by wash swirls, helping to keep your car "like new" for longer.
